     Title: Rally alerts available to all mobile phone users
Local company ALT Entertainment Inc. is partnering with the Barbados Rally Club and Texaco to introduce a new component to Rounds 3 and 4 of the Texaco Barbados Rally Club Championship coming off June 3rd and 4th island wide.

Bridgetown, Barbados, May 26, 2006 - Local company ALT Entertainment Inc. is partnering with the Barbados Rally Club and Texaco to introduce a new component to Rounds 3 and 4 of the Texaco Barbados Rally Club Championship coming off June 3rd and 4th island wide.

 

“Texaco Rally Txt is a comprehensive alerts service offering near real-time results and on demand information on the rallying action,” said Ryan Davis, Director of Interactive Services for ALT Entertainment Inc. “Users text START to 246-262- RACE (7223) to subscribe receive results after each stage, schedule and start time changes, stage incidents and retirements via SMS text message.”

 

“Texting the car number to 246-262- RACE (7223), provides information on specific vehicles, while texting the class or group to 246-262- RACE (7223) provides results by class or group.”

 

“Subscribers to the Texaco Rally Txt service who correctly predict the winner of the Rally by texting WIN and the car number to 246-262- RACE (7223) get entered to win one of ten $100 fuel prizes, redeemable at any Texaco service station.”

 

Texaco Rally Txt is one of a number of entertainment and infotainment services available to all mobile phone users in Barbados, regardless of cellular service provider, with the introduction of the TxtPay Prepaid Payment system.

 

“Targeted primarily at young people in the Caribbean, TxtPay works in exactly the same way as prepaid payments for international calling and mobile phone service - you load up credits and use them until they run out,” explained Davis.
